Happy New Years [Sunday, January 1st, 2006]

I just have to say...the best/worst/funniest/grossest thing I heard/saw today was the cat litterbox contents. That being the fact that someone peed in it, and that the culprit most definitely wasn't a cat.

Okay, so I got this idea from looking at this picture of Marie & her magical tree and of course had to use myself as a subject, because I was the only one around at the time, and whatever - it works. I need to use my film camera again. I miss it. It's been so long. And seeing prints of [info]literique's tonight, made me feel a little a lot nostalgic.

In less than 6 hours, I take my last psychology class/exam. Yay.

Here is me being fakely overecstatic (I mean, happy, like a happy chappy) that design is over until January (no more yellow tracing paper for a month!):

Pee es; Before I forget: Jenni and I, in our attempts to make chocolate chip-banana muffins (which actually was more like a chocolate, minus the chips (due to melting), set off the fire alarms. It was the most incredible experience ever. Emily (Jenni & the fifth floor's R.A.) pointed us out to everyone but we were too busy laughing at ourselves to care. (The muffins weren't even burnt! Well, the mini ones kinda were. Kinda?) Everyone on my floor probably hates me more. But that's alright. Because it's mutual.

I mean...

"Could it be worse?" [Saturday, September 3rd, 2005]
[ music | Coldplay; "Twisted Logic" ]

"I hate the way they portray us in the media. We see a black family that says they're looting. We see a white family that says they're looking for food & you know it's been five days because most of the people are black & even for me to complain about I would be a hyprocrite because I try to turn away from the TV because it's too hard to watch. I've even been shopping before even giving a donation, so now I'm calling my business manager right now to see what's the biggest amount that I can give. And just to imagine if I was down there, those are my people down there, so anybody out there that wants to do anything with the setup the way America is setup to help the poor, the black people, the less well off as slow as possible. I mean the Red Cross is doing everything they can. We already realize that a lot of the people that can help are at war right now fighting another way and they've given them permission to go down & shoot us." - Kanye West

I hate how I heard people are flippin' their lids because of Kanye's statement on television. I saw it online somewhere, since I have no T.V. in the dorm. It's pathetic how people can't realize or recognize that racism definitely still exists in today's culture and most people just choose to ignore it. But when one celebrity speaks his mind, the world goes even more haywire than it already is currently. "...so now I'm calling my business manager right now to see what's the biggest amount that I can give." - although I feel a bit annoyed after reading that sentence, just because I was like WHY DO YOU HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE TO SEE HOW MUCH YOU CAN GIVE? WHAT? But here's a very good example of what Kanye said about black families "looting" and white families "finding" food:

I stole that picture from Megan.

I think nature hates us. It's all backfiring and going up in flames. The world is drowning itself. This made me almost break down. (Scroll down to see the video I'm talking about: One Man's Loss) My vision started getting blurry and my eyes started watering.

Other than that, the last three days have been a few of the absolute worst of my life.

Hurricane Katrina. [Friday, September 2nd, 2005]
[ music | Kanye West ft. Adam Levine; "Heard 'Em Say. ]

Okay. Hurricane Katrina. I have never felt so strongly towards a natural disaster as I do about this one. And I rarely make posts concerning matters like this. It seems like hurricanes are just an ordinary way of living down South. I wish I could donate or be there helping, give people the clothes off my back, provide them shelter and food, and give them their lives back. It's so sad and I don't even know really what all is going on (seeing as how I don't get any channels on my T.V. because I don't have an extra $30 per month lying around for cable in the dorm), but I'm trying to update myself as much as possible on the internet through the the NYTIMES and other various news sources. I've been to New Orleans twice and cannot even begin to fathom how bad the flooding is for a city that's below sea-level. When you walk down the streets, you see ships going by above your head.
I feel so bad for the people who were homeless, and the people who are now homeless. I feel so bad for the children and all the people dying in the street. I wish I could do something. If you can't feel any sympathy for these people, then you simply have no heart.

My car getting towed really had no effect on me at all yesterday.
I was beaming when I asked the police officer where they had taken my van.

Typos Included. This is an INTENSE post! [Tuesday, July 12th, 2005]
[ mood | clean! ]
[ music | Eminem; "My Dad's Gone Crazy" ]

Okay now. JAY freakin' KAY is coming out with a new album. I mean Jamiroquai. I mean obviously! Duh! I am excited.

Okay before I forget, Megan Moulos made me this out of this! It's amazing! OBVIOUSLY.

Sup hoez? Nothing much in T-twon. WOW. I CAN'T SPEEL. CLASSIQUE.
So hay. I think it's just me, myself getting thrown into the fountain and I this saturday. Sasha's parents are pretty shitty. YUP. Yeah Nicole & Amy & Sash were supposed to come up in like 2 days for the birthday. Oh well. I'm learning not to look forward to birthday's because of last year's WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. Thank god I didn't get my hopes up or anything. Ummm I have no idea about Nicole & Amy though. Probably not. (GOSH way to be pessimistic asshole! SURREEEE) Sasha is too good though, I don't deserve her. She already sent me a care package with candy bracelets that say I LOVE YOU on big candy hearts, a turtle sippy cup (obviously), tabasco boxers! (obviously) and a bunch of other great stuff. ♥

Katie & I have deducted that everyone else on our floor is lame. YES. THAT'S RIGHT. I know I shouldn't base things on floor socials, but I was literally the ONLY ONE who showed up last friday. UGH. Stupid girls. Yes, yes, continue to talk to your boyfriends on your cellphones in the halls well past midnight when I'm trying to sleep because of my 8:00 math class every morning. Continue to roll your eyes when I walk around barefoot (no I refuse to wear shoes to take a piss) and laugh LOUDLY like a TOTAL LUNATIC, it's alright, it's all good, because I LOVE YOU TOO. I will continue to write stuff silently mocking you on your white boards though.

Oh man yesterday Katie and I NEARLY DIED biking back from the gym. There's like the most tremendous hill ever right outside the Leach Center and we, after almost hitting a curb, and getting run over by the cops, nearly tumbled backwards down the hill laughing. Katie had to get off of her bike because she couldn't balance and laugh that hard, but I HAVE INCREDIBLE SKILLZ! I made it all the way up that damn hill and all the way down to the dorms. UGH. Oh yeah we were also both pedaling with one hand due to the fact that we had strawberry banana (2 two piece bikinis plz) power smoothies glued to our free hand. GOOD STUFF.
Speaking of the gym, I saw Sunny Skurow there. Pretty cool. Were supposed to get together some time and do...stuff...uhhh...HAHAHAHA. It's really not that funny. I just laugh at everything.

Today I had a conversation with someone! A real rareity. Some kid asked for a pen on the way to my class this morning, and we started talking about how math sucks and how he's from Wellington and I'm from Oldsville but then we parted ways. I was like OH NORMAL LIFE! for one second, and I didn't catch his name. Oh well. Sucks for me.

Four more (Fo' Mo'!) days until the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Oh man the secrecy. It's so gr8. Seriously. Check it! And here's another good one.

Awww the trip up to FSU was fantastic!

There was over 300 pictures of my camera by the time I finally got to load them onto the computer - I had to wait for my dad to send me the USB cord. But YAY! Most of these were taken in Cedar Key.

i think everytime i open my mouth, someone should punch me in the face.
i should walk around with automated [by sound] boxing gloves that will just pummel me in a heartbeat.
this sounds like a good idea.

pearuhsaurus: yeah so anyways everyone sucks, i hate highschool, i hate these people. i can't wait for a highschool reunion so i can be up in people's dumb faces and be like what are you doing now? wiping my ass? that's what i thought.

no but seriously, i have a headache.

i have come to realize that friends only is the way to go. simply because i would like to keep track of who reads this, and keep out all lame people from my school, who pretend to like me, from reading entirely. i don't like seeing them in school, so why would i want to at home?

i'm looking for those with journals who are eclectic and funky, passionate within their arts; people with long, informative entries or short, outspoken entries from time to time. people whom might just have that certain quirky trait and use lots of vibrant, colorful displays of text and images are fine and dandy with me. don't add me if you're a pompous asshole, i've had enough of those.

so hey beetch-ez, drop me a line, and if i like you, i'll add you back. if i don't, i'll cut you [with a knife!] off the list and then i expect you to do the same. i mean, seriously, what's the point of having me added if you can't read anything? peaceners.
